It took me 30minutes to plan for our family’s weekend getaway, together with Samantha, a family’s friend, we decided to embrace the nature by driving along East-West Highway. It took us approximately 3 hours from Penang passing by Grik and finally reaching our destination at Belum Rainforest Resort, Pulau Banding . The Resort is located between the highway and Temengor lake, The resort room were categorized to Superior and Deluxe type with either lake or Garden view on different price tag from MYR255 to MYR400 (There is surcharge during the School Holiday).
The rooms were mostly made of wood which displayed a unique architect & interior design, comfortable yet clean, there is no TV set in the room as they want you to spend more time exploring the nature outside.♥♥
Walking along the lakeside on a forest trail toward a mock up Orang Asli Kampung could be a wonderful experience for the kids who live in the city.Jing E & I saw a giant lizard resting by the lakeside. The Resort does provide excursion packages cater for different needs but we didn’t sign up as I think it is a bit pricy.
We also drive half and hour toward Jeli’s Direction and stopped by the Hentian Banjaran Titiwangsa.
