The Hard Rock Hotel Penang opened on 19 September 2009 is the first Hard Rock Hotel in Malaysia. Since we do not have sufficient budget for an overseas trip, we decided to have our family vacation here. The hotel converted from previous Hotel Casuarina Penang featuring a modern structural design & the room equipped with DVD/CD player, 32” LCD TV and the IPod Docking Station. The room we stayed has a picture of “The Beatles” as decoration. Limited edition platinum record souvenir is given during this promotion period. The kids enjoyed a lot in the pool as well as the Lil ‘ Rock Kid Club.

We are hitting the road again on the Deepavali Holiday, this time to the world of nature,Hutan Lipur Bukit Hijau of Kedah. From Butterworth,took the Butterworth-Kulim Highway (BKE), after passing by 2 toll plaza, took the flyover & went staight to Baling direction.we passed by the Inokom Plant on the right; looked for a signboard of Kejal infront of traffic light,took the right turn. ,came accross a T Junction, took the right turn again;After some 500 meter there is a junction on the left, went straight for some 5KM,hitting another T Junction, took a right turn again and look for the signboard to Hutan Lipur Bukit Hijau.

The park located at Gunung Inas Forest Reserve, 45KM from town of Baling,42KM from Kulim or 45KM from Sungai Petani,established in 1990.Amidst the greenary,Hutan Lipur Bukit Hijau which is famous of its seven level cascading waterfalls seems to be a favourite holiday destination of the local folks for family outing ,camping and picnicking. The water is cool and refreshing suitable for swimming too. The Park is operated by a company called Nur Lembah Pangsun Sdn Bhd,they charge an entrance fee of MYR1 for Car.The park is also equipped with Chalets & Casa for those who intend to put a night there,In additions,the company also provide several training program such as Outdoor adventure,Motivational Programmes, Family Day Packages and the like.
